This seminar has two main goals:
1. To understand Israel’s role in God’s plan
Throughout the history of salvation, Israel has held a special place in God’s purpose. But what role does it play today? Did that role change with the coming of the Church? During the seminar we will examine the teaching of Scripture to see how God works through Israel in the past, present and future.
We will also address the difficult question of growing hatred toward Israel and seek to understand its causes in the light of Scripture — including the events after October 7, 2023 and their spiritual context.
2. To think through the biblical teaching on Israel and today’s attitudes toward it
The second goal is to help believers form a biblical view of Israel and the Jewish people. We will consider key theological questions: has the Church replaced Israel, what does the Bible say about hostility toward it, and how should Christians respond to these challenges today?
The seminar will help participants see the whole biblical picture — from Abraham to the New Testament — and understand the practical significance of this subject for Christian life and ministry today.
Who will benefit:
- preachers and Bible teachers
- seminary students
- church ministers
- anyone who wants a deeper understanding of God’s plan of salvation
Lecture plan:
